MUSIC

My first memory of music came from my Grandmother. She bought me a small Yellow synth when I was 4 years old. I was playing on that little synth every day without even knowing how to play it, but it made me feel good and I realized that if you put certain notes together it made something truly beautiful.

When I was 8, my father bought me a small nylon stringed Landola guitar from a flea market down the road from where we lived. I didn't like to go outside to much when I was a kid, I enjoyed sitting in my room in peace since I have 2 brothers and a little sister, quiet time was rarely around when I grew up. So my Dad gave me that guitar and told me that if i'm just gonna sit in my room I might as well learn to do something of value. So that guitar and I spent that whole summer together with a song book called "Best Rock Classics of the 60s & 70s". 

 

House of the Rising sun was played on that little guitar just about a billion times. 

 

As I learned to play that little guitar, singing became an organic thing to follow and as the years passed I started to sing more and more, to the degree of me focusing rather on singing then playing that little guitar. 

 

I wrote my first song in my mid teens and noticed what a truly wonderful thing it is to make music that is your own. Like a diary of sorts where you can explain how you feel, not only with words but with sounds as well.

 

I can't explain how much music means to me, I have never pretended with music or thought that I'm anything special when it comes to playing music. But it has been a companion of mine my whole life and I have loved it every single step. It was a way to express myself when words wasn't enough. 

 

I've played music my whole life.

 

Today im 37, I've released a couple EPs along the way, worked with some remarkable people and Loved, Laughed and Cried with music by my side since that little Yellow synth landed in my lap.

Music is my first true joy and love, it is something I truly enjoy doing and have been doing actively for a long time.
